Niceville Trailer Rental: Dump, Car Hauler, Equipment and Gooseneck
Niceville and Bluewater Bay homeowners stay outside. Yard work, dock projects on Boggy Bayou, garage cleanouts, and the steady stream of college moves around Northwest Florida State keep our trailers rolling all year.
Our yard is on Lee Drive in Mary Esther, a straight run for anyone coming across the Mid-Bay Bridge. Easy in, easy out.
We are open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day, so an early start is not a problem. Here is what folks up your way usually book, and what it takes to get one hooked up.
Trailers Niceville folks reach for
- 6x10 dump trailer (Lil Dumpy) for hauling pine straw, palm fronds, sod, and a season's worth of leaves out of Rocky Bayou or Bluewater Bay. The tarp comes with it.
- 7x20 car hauler (Ole Faithful) for moving boats on roller trailers, side-by-sides, or a project truck. It comes with a wireless winch, straps, and a pair of 7ft aluminum ramps for low cars.
- 8.5x24 16K equipment trailer (Big Bertha) for contractors handling new builds off Range Road and out toward Swift Creek. Wireless winch, straps, and 3/8 chains with binders are included.
- 7x36 gooseneck (Goosey) when one trip has to do the work of two. Open center with a steel mesh floor and a winch on board.
Sizes, payloads, and daily rates
Payload is the part people get wrong. Match the load to the trailer first, then check what your truck can pull.
| Trailer | Deck size | Payload | Daily |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lil Dumpy (6x10 dump) | 6ft x 10ft | 7,200 lbs | $100 |
| Ole Faithful (7x20 car hauler) | 7ft x 20ft | 4,250 lbs | $95 |
| Big Bertha (8.5x24 equipment) | 8.5ft x 24ft | 12,000 lbs | $125 |
| Goosey (7x36 gooseneck) | 7ft x 36ft | 9,800 lbs | $160 |
Half day and weekly rates are worth a look. Half-day rates run $55 on Lil Dumpy, $65 on Ole Faithful, and $75 on Big Bertha. Going the other direction, a week on the dump trailer is $500, the same as five days, so days six and seven ride along.
Make sure your truck can pull it
Big Bertha is a 16,000 lb GVWR trailer, and Goosey is 14,000 lbs on a gooseneck hitch, which needs a ball mounted in the bed of your truck. Lil Dumpy and Ole Faithful both run a bumper pull with a Round 7 Pin plug, but the ball sizes differ, 2-5/16 inch on the dump and 2 inch on the car hauler.
Check your tow vehicle before you book, not in the parking lot. Run your year, make, and model through our free Tow Vehicle Guide to see what it is rated to pull, and confirm you have the right ball and a working 7 pin connector. Towing over your vehicle's rating is unsafe and it is on you, not the trailer.
