Milton, FL Trailer Rental: Equipment, Dump & Gooseneck Trailers
Milton customers run the gamut. Blackwater River outdoorsmen, Whiting Field families, and folks running farms or land out past Bagdad. The job is usually bigger than what fits in a pickup bed, and the drive is long enough that you want the right trailer the first time.
Our yard sits on Lee Drive in Mary Esther, so a run up to Milton and Santa Rosa County is a real trip. That shapes what people book here. The bigger trailers are what make the drive worth it, and longer rentals are where most Milton customers land.
We are open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day, so you can hitch up early and still get a full day on the job. If the drive does not pencil out for you, we also deliver. Call and we will talk through it.
What Milton customers usually book
Four trailers cover almost every Santa Rosa County job.
- 7x36 gooseneck (Goosey) for tractor moves, ATV runs out to Blackwater, and hauling more than one thing at a time. Open center with a steel mesh floor, and it comes with a wireless winch.
- 8.5x24 16K equipment trailer (Big Bertha) for general contractor work along Highway 90 and Avalon. Skid steers, mini excavators, dirt work. Wireless winch, straps, 3/8 chains, and binders are part of the rental.
- 6x10 10K dump trailer (Lil Dumpy) for yard cleanups, hurricane debris, and roof tear-offs. The tarp comes with it.
- 7x20 7K car hauler (Ole Faithful) for a project car, a side-by-side, or a load of furniture. The 7ft aluminum ramps make low cars easy.
Daily, weekly, or monthly for a Milton job
Daily: the right call when it is one round trip and the trailer comes back the same day.
Weekly: the rate starts paying for itself around the fourth or fifth day, and you keep the trailer on site for the whole project instead of driving it back and forth.
Monthly: worth pricing out if you are looking at three weeks or more. Land clearing, a long remodel, or a build that keeps needing another load.
What you need to book
You will need a valid driver license and proof of insurance. At checkout you can pay in full or put down a 50% deposit and settle the rest later. Florida sales tax is calculated and shown on your quote before you pay.
Damage protection is available on every rental and carries a $150 copay if you end up using it. The terms are on the protection plan page.
Plan your return time honestly when you pick your dates. A late fee applies if the trailer comes back after the time on your rental, and an extra day up front is cheaper than a surprise.
Plans change, and that is fine. Cancel 48 or more hours before pickup and you get a full refund. Cancel inside 48 hours and a 25% fee applies.
Make sure your truck can pull it
The gooseneck and the 16K are the two that catch people out, and it is worth two minutes to check before you drive an hour. The gooseneck needs a bed hitch. The equipment trailer and the dump both run a 2-5/16 inch ball, and the car hauler runs a 2 inch ball. All four use a round 7 pin plug.
Run your truck or SUV through our free Tow Vehicle Guide before you book. It tells you what your vehicle is actually rated to pull so you are not finding out in the yard. If you are shopping the same trailers closer to the coast, our Navarre post covers them too.
