Santa Rosa Beach & 30A Trailer Rental: Built for Coastal Projects
The 30A corridor stays under construction. Vacation rental turnovers, beach house builds, dune restoration work, and the constant landscape jobs between Grayton and Watercolor keep trailers moving all year. If your job is out in Santa Rosa Beach, you need the right trailer and a rate that makes the drive worth it.
Acone's Trailer Rentals is a veteran owned yard in Mary Esther, and Santa Rosa Beach is one of the areas we serve. You book online, you pick up the trailer, you get back to the job.
Here is what gets booked for coastal work, what it costs, and what to have with you at pickup.
What 30A and Santa Rosa Beach crews book most
- 6x10 10k dump (Lil Dumpy) for shingle, drywall, and tear-off loads coming out of beach house remodels. A tarp comes with it, which matters on 98.
- 8.5x24 16K (Big Bertha) for skid steer, mini excavator, and Bobcat moves on new builds. Wireless winch, straps, and 3/8 chains and binders are included.
- 7x36 gooseneck (Goosey) for moving multiple pieces of equipment or a heavier haul down 98 or 331. It has a winch and an open center with a steel mesh floor.
- 7x20 7K car hauler (Ole Faithful) when it is one vehicle or a flat deck load. Wireless winch and straps are included, and the 7ft aluminum ramps handle anything low.
Daily and weekly rates
All four trailers rent daily, weekly, or monthly. The rates below are before sales tax.
| Trailer | Daily | Weekly |
|---|---|---|
| 7x20 car hauler (Ole Faithful) | $95 | $400 |
| 6x10 dump (Lil Dumpy) | $100 | $500 |
| 8.5x24 16K (Big Bertha) | $125 | $600 |
| 7x36 gooseneck (Goosey) | $160 | $800 |
Pick the rate that matches how long you actually need the trailer. Short jobs are cheaper by the day, and the weekly rate takes over once the trailer stays with you into the back half of the week.
Do the math before you book. A week on the 6x10 dump is $500, which is five days at the $100 daily rate. So a two day tear-off is $200 and the weekly rate only starts saving you money on day five. Every trailer in the fleet works out about the same way, and monthly rates are there if the build is going long.
Payment, protection, and cancellations
You can pay in full at checkout or put down a 50% deposit. Sales tax is added at checkout, so the total on your quote is the number you owe.
Damage protection is available with a $150 copay if something happens on the job. Details are on the protection plan page.
Bring a valid driver's license and proof of insurance. Both are required before a trailer leaves the yard.
Cancellations made 48 or more hours before pickup receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are subject to a 25% fee.
Hours and delivery
The yard is open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week, so an early start is on the table when your crew is on the job at sunrise. Pick the trailer up early and you are headed east on 98 before the traffic stacks up.
If you would rather not tow it yourself, we do deliver. Call and we will quote the run out to Santa Rosa Beach or Freeport.
Heading up 331 instead of out to the coast? See our DeFuniak Springs trailer rental page for what those jobs usually need.
Not sure your truck can pull the gooseneck or the 16K? Run the numbers through our free tow vehicle guide before you book. It takes a minute and it beats finding out in the parking lot.
