Acone's Trailer Rentals is at 270 Lee Dr in Mary Esther, and we are open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day of the week. You can book online and often pick up the same day. Delivery is also available if you would rather not pull the trailer yourself.

What Destin customers book most

Destin trailer rates
Rates are the same whether you are five minutes from the yard or coming over the bridge. Sales tax is added at checkout, so the total you approve is the total you owe.

Once a Destin project runs past a couple of trips, do the math on the weekly rate. Four days on the dump trailer costs more than a full week of it. The same trailers serve Santa Rosa Beach and the 30A corridor, so you can keep one unit for the whole job instead of turning it back mid week.
Booking and payment
Pick your dates online and choose how you want to pay. You can put down a 50 percent deposit at booking or pay in full, whichever you prefer.
Cancellations made 48 or more hours before pickup receive a full refund. Cancellations inside 48 hours are subject to a 25 percent fee. Late returns are subject to a late fee, so if the job runs long, call before your return time instead of after it.
Before you hook up
Bring a valid driver's license and proof of insurance. Both are required to rent.
If you are not sure your truck or SUV can pull what you picked, run it through our tow vehicle guide first. Ball size and plug type matter as much as weight, and the numbers below are easy to check in your driveway before you drive over.
Hitch and gear by trailer: the 7x20 car hauler takes a 2 inch ball. The 6x10 dump, the 8.5X24Ft, and the 7x36 gooseneck all take a 2-5/16 inch ball, and the gooseneck rides in the bed rather than on a bumper hitch. All four use a round 7 pin plug. A wireless winch comes with the car hauler, the 8.5X24Ft, and the gooseneck. The car hauler and the 8.5X24Ft also include straps, the 8.5X24Ft carries 3/8 chains and binders, and the dump trailer comes with a tarp.
Loaded weight is what counts, not the empty trailer. The 8.5X24Ft alone weighs 4,000 lbs before anything goes on it, and a dump trailer full of wet shingles adds up fast. Check your tow rating against the loaded number, not the sticker, and call us and describe the load if you are not sure.
Damage protection
A damage protection plan is offered at checkout if you want it. The copay is $150.
